Panganiban is one of the municipalities that host natural sanctuaries for hard-shell crabs or locally known as  "kinis". Dubbed as the "Crab Capital" of the island, the town celebrates its annual 'Kinis Festival' on the month of July.

Its enthusiasm in celebrating their town fiesta is always brought to the next level of creativity and festivity. The yearly celebration is participated by hundreds of students and residents dress in colorful costumes and parade along the major streets of the town.

The highlights of the festival include the street dance competition, crab racing and trade fare (One Town One Product) that aims to promote the town's crab industry. Today, Kinis Festival serves as a major event that advances the tourism industry of Panganiban.
